Do not wash or get hair wet in the first 48 hrs after install. Avoid overwashing to help preserve your extensions. Use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, and always wash and rinse thoroughly between the extensions to prevent buildup.
If the hair feels dry, lightly pre-condition the ends before shampooing. Do not apply conditioner or oils near the bonds as this can cause the bonds to slip. Conditioner may be applied to mids and ends. If ends feel dry leave-in conditioner or oil may be applied to ends.

Never go to bed with wet hair as this can cause tangling and damage. Always use a light leave-in conditioner and/or heat protectant before styling. Allow your hair to air dry as long as possible before blow-drying to minimize heat exposure.

Daily brushing is essential to maintain smooth, tangle-free hair. Use a boar bristle brush or a combo boar/plastic bristle brush (such as the one by Wet Brush).
Limit the use of hot tools, and opt for gentler styling alternatives like heatless curls or hot rollers to preserve your extensions’ integrity.
When washing, brushing, or styling, it’s important to section and separate the hair. This makes the process easier and helps maintain the integrity of your extensions. Start from the bottom and work your way up, gently brushing from root to tip. Always hold the hair near the top with your hand to prevent unnecessary tension or pulling when brushing or styling.
After washing finger comb first with detangler. Then detangle with a wet brush, or extension brush. Remember to hold hair near the top while brushing mids and ends. Once dry a boar brush is recommended. It is recomended to brush at least twice a day.
Sleeping: Brush hair before sleeping. Sleep on satin pillowcase or in a satin bonnet if possible to avoid tangling and drying out your extensions. If you don't have those, you can loosely braid 1 or 2 braids to help with tangling.
It's important to maintain regular appointments to remove your extensions from the growth point back to the scalp. This keeps it more comfortable and strong. Leaving them in longer than recommended can cause damage to the natural hair. Maintenance can vary with extension installations, length/texture/density differences, and lifestyle changes.
